Flame Cutting

Our flame cutting service is ideal for thicker materials, capable of handling steel plates up to 300mm thick with precision. This traditional method uses a chemical reaction between oxygen and steel to create clean, professional cuts.

This method is perfect for projects where slightly rounded edges are acceptable or even beneficial, as it often requires minimal finishing. Many customers find flame cutting to be a cost-effective solution for heavy-duty materials, providing excellent value without compromising on quality.

 

Plasma Cutting

For faster turnaround on thinner materials, our plasma cutting service delivers exceptional speed and precision. This process uses highly conductive gas to cut through steel quickly and efficiently.

The speed of plasma cutting particularly suits large-scale production requirements, allowing us to process substantial quantities in minimal time. The precision of this method also ensures complex designs are executed with exacting accuracy.

For steel plates over 60 millimetres, flame cutting is often the most effective option. For materials between 3 and 60 millimetres, plasma cutting delivers excellent results, especially for detailed steel profiles.

For both plasma and flame cutting up to 40mm we maintain +/-1.5mm accuracy, while thicker materials follow increasing tolerances up to +/-6mm for plates over 150mm thick.

What is the maximum thickness of steel plate you can cut?

We can cut steel plates up to 300mm thick using our flame cutting equipment, while recommending plasma cutting for optimal results on materials between 6mm and 38mm.

Do you provide material certification with your steel plate cutting services?

Yes, we provide full material certification and traceability documentation with all our cut steel products, including mill certificates and processing details that satisfy CE Execution Class 4 requirements.

CNC Machining

Full suite CNC machining services delivering high quality parts to your specifications (up to 1620mm x 810mm), including milling and drilling from 3mm to 32mm. Our four CNC centres and Gemini machine with an eight head tool changer ensure precision across all operations.

Bevelling and Chamfering

We provide high quality weld profile bevels on plates from 3mm to 300mm thick with angles up to 30 degrees. Our services cover everything from uniflats and base plates to chamfered profiles, bridge components, deck plates and custom steel profiles.

Shotblasting

Industrial shot blasting services that deliver a smooth and durable finish to your steel parts with expert precision. Using our rotary barrel tumble blaster and rotary table blaster, we can work with parts of all sizes, ensuring every piece is finished to the highest standard and level of detail.
