What is CNC Milling?

CNC Milling is an advanced machining process that uses computer-controlled machines to remove material from a workpiece, creating precise shapes, designs and features.

Also known as surface removal, this subtractive manufacturing technique progressively removes material from a solid block or billet using a rotating cutting tool.

The process begins with a computer-aided design CAD model of your component. Once the design is complete, we use computer-aided manufacturing CAM software to translate it into instructions the machine can follow. With the programming in place, the CNC milling machine carefully executes each step, shaping the material with precision to match the exact specifications.
