Precision CNC Cutting for Steel Projects of All Sizes

If you are looking for reliable steel cutting with fast turnaround and expert support, RMP Products provides precise, high-quality CNC cutting services for a wide range of steel grades and thicknesses. We help businesses across the UK keep their projects on track with no compromises on quality.

When searching for a CNC metal cutting service, you are not just looking for machines but a dependable partner who understands the importance of accuracy, timing and trust.  Whatever your production type, big or small, we are here to help, understanding how vital it is to get steel parts cut correctly the first time. We also serve a wide range of industries including oil and gas, agriculture and defence.

What We Offer

We provide expert CNC cutting across hot rolled, cold rolled, wear resistant and specialist steels and can handle material thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 300mm. Our CNC plasma cutting servicesuse high-definition machines equipped with True Hole Technology, which ensures clean and consistent results even on thicker profiles.

We cut structural steels such as S275JR, S355JR and S355J2+N as well as wear and high strength steels including 400 to 500 Brinell, S690 and 700MC. We also work with weather resistant, offshore and pressure vessel steels plus medium carbon steels like EN8 (080M40).

Our CNC steel cutting capabilities include cutting beds up to 16,000 millimetres by 5,000 millimetres and tolerances of plus or minus 1.5 millimetres to 2 millimetres depending on the thickness of the material. Our services are certified to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 4 and ISO 9001 standards, ensuring quality with every project. We also use multiple high-definition torches to provide speed and efficiency.

Choosing the Right CNC Cutting Method

There are different methods used within CNC cutting and understanding the options can help you choose the right service for your project.

Plasma cutting works by using a focused jet of ionised gas to slice through electrically conductive materials. This method is especially effective on structural and wear resistant steels and can handle a wide range of thicknesses. It is often chosen for its balance of speed, quality and cost-effectiveness on medium to heavy steels.

Laser cutting is another CNC method that uses a focused beam of light to cut through metal. It is typically used for thinner steel sheets and projects that require extremely fine tolerances and intricate details. While laser cutting offers a high level of precision, plasma cutting tends to be more practical and efficient for the types of heavy-duty materials and industries we work with.

We focus on CNC plasma cutting, ensuring that customers benefit from reliable, fast and cost-effective cutting, backed by machines designed for industrial-scale steel profiling.
