Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Plant Jetty

To help reduce the amount of heavy goods vehicle deliveries on the local roads. The Jetty will allow 80% of aggregates needed for concrete production to be brought via sea transport throughout construction of the nuclear Site. The fabrication of the columns of the Jetty required large plates of 12m x 3m to be cut and weld prepped prior to rolling into tubes.
